Aotea was created in the kitchen of Wallaceville House, Upper Hutt over 30 years ago. Here the Mahoney family established a hospitality, corporate function centre and wedding venue, it was our much loved home and business for many years. Wallaceville House still operates to this day. An interest and passion in food, matched with traditional family recipes, made from the best New Zealand natural ingredients inspired everything under the Aotea Banner.
Today Aotea Fine Foods continues this legacy serving our wonderful wholesale and online customers with the best New Zealand made and internationally sourced food products for Christmas, seasonal events and the gift market.
